Snowmobile safari "Ancient civilizations of Russia"

By snowmobile we go to places where ancient civilizations have left their marks. We will watch to the gigantic figure of dancing shaman Kuyva on a rock on the frozen sore of the sacred lake "Seidozero". We will watch the petroglyphs – rock carving- dating back to the third millennium BC. You will feel yourself Saami sledging behind dogs and spending the night in the Vezha arround the fire on reindeer fur.

Snowmobile safari "Ancient civilizations of Russia"

Day 1: Meeting at Murmansk airport or at a hotel. Transfer to the to the start point of the tour at foot of Khibiny Mountains (240 km). After brief introduction and changing clothes we start our snowmobiling tour via the majestic mountains sleeping under crystal snow blanket. After lunch in a mountain hotel we proceed via the Northern Rischorr Pass (Witches’ Valley) and via Umbozero Lake to Lovozero Tundra. Check in at a guest house. Dinner. Overnight. (LD)
Distance of snowmobiling: 90 km

Day 2: Breakfast. Ride on a snowmobile to Seidozero Lake to the mystic place on a shore of Saint Lake where "Dancing Shaman named Kuiva" is watching you from the rock. Coming back to the house for lunch. After lunch we snowmobile to Lovozero lake for ice fishing. Coming back to the house for dinner, sauna and overnight. If we are lucky we can watch the Northern Lights in the sky laying outside on reindeer fur. (BLD)

Day 3: Breakfast. Start to snowmobile via the picturesque Winter forest to Saami Vezha. Lunch in the Vezha. Then we proceed to the place where we can watch one of archeological memorials of Kola – the ancient rock carving. For dinner and overnight we come back to the Vezha. (BLD)

Day 4: Breakfast. Start to drive by a snowmobile to the Husky park. We are welcome with hot tea and traditional pies. We will learn the wonderful story of the race "Siberian Husky", can communicate with the charming and sweet dogs. After the detailed introduction how to manage a dog’s sledge you will start to move along the specially prepared forest route ruling the sledge by yourself. After lunch of traditional dishes we proceed to the shore of Imandra Lake to the guest house. Sauna. Dinner. Overnight. (BLD)

Day 5: Breakfast. Via Imandra lake and Khibiny mountains – Ramzai Pass and Maly Vudyavr Valley we drive to the finish point of our route. Lunch in a café. Transfer to Murmansk. (BL)
